As interest in the Bangladeshi market grows within Japan, we are seeking Bengali language announcers to deliver news and information. Join programs on major broadcasting networks and make an impact with your words!
◆ Desired Candidates
- Individuals who can accurately pronounce Bengali (native speakers or those fluent in the language)
- Holders of valid residency status permitting employment in Japan
- Ability to input Bengali text using a computer
Prior experience as an announcer is not required; however, applicants will be asked to read a script during the selection process.
◆ Work Location & Format
- Contract Type: Freelance (outsourcing agreement)
- Location: Approximately once a week in central Tokyo (Yamanote Line area)
Please note that transportation expenses are not covered. - Scheduling: Recording shifts will be determined through consultation.
◆ Job Description
- Translating English scripts into Bengali
- Reading news scripts in Bengali
- Occasional accompaniment on interviews and field reporting (irregular basis)
